Australia for annual reports? Well I freely admit Australia is well known for its prawns, crocodiles, larger than life persona's and a host of other things that go beyond the scope of this post. Ha ha. I created this blog to feature Australian graphic design and our Gold Coast design studio focusing exclusively on corporate print design and annual report design. This is all awesome and all by Austalian designers.

Some of my Brisbane Annual Report Work (for Events QLD)

In my first post I will showcase Annual Reports from Gold Coast, Australia based graphic design studio Halfnine. First a little background info... Halfnine started out back in 2001 as a design group with a strong focus on government corporate communications - mainly print design. Ignoring the HUGE trend at that time to dive into the digital services that broke the back of so many great design firms.

Good Graphic Design Inspires

I hope these designs will inspire other organizations to push the boundaries of what and annual report design can look like; Fresh and creative, while still maintaining that clear image of itself – confident, business like, and professional.

Lately the design team has been staying pretty inspired and have been hitting major home-runs in the Tourism design sector (note: tourism is a multi-billion dollar yearly industry on the Gold Coast QLD). The founder of Halfnine design agency Chris Howell is an award winning art director with more than 15 years within the graphic design and advertising industry.
